Upcoming Road Works
Planned Maintenance - A83 Kennacraig Ferry Terminal
BEAR Scotland, acting on behalf of Transport Scotland, are planning to carry out essential carriageway resurfacing works on the A83, at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal junction.
The resurfacing works are planned to take place over 6 nights starting on Sunday 14th of September under a road closure with hourly amnesties.
Lining and stud reinstatement will be carried out on Friday 26th of September under 2-way temporary traffic lights and 10mph convoy.
Planned Maintenance - A83 Tayinloan
The resurfacing works are planned to take place over 17 nights starting on Sunday 24th of August.
The first 13 nights will be carried out under a road closure with hourly amnesties with the last 4 nights utilising a lane closures and 2-way TTL’s with 10mph Convoy.
Planned Maintenance - A83 Tayinloan
The final crane lift operations associated with the A83 Rest and Be Thankful Long-Term Solution (LTS) ground investigation works, which will require traffic to be diverted onto the Old Military Road, are scheduled to take place on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th August. As communicated for previous closures, these works include crane lifts of specialist drilling equipment and ancillary equipment off and onto the hillside.
The OMR diversions will be in place between 0800 and 1800 on both the 26th and 27th August.
