Southend Community Playpark Committee are close to their fundraising target after a grant from the Scottish Rural Development Programme.

Southend Community Playpark Committee are delighted to announce that they have been awarded a grant of £49,311 from the Scottih Rural Development Fund (SRDP). This brings them close to their fundraising target of £60. 860 as they had already raised just over £6500 through donations and local fundraising events.

The playpark committee will be continuing with fundraising events through the summer months and will be having a stall at the Southend Highland Games on the 24th of July. Please come along and support them and find out more about the project.

Also look out for a fundraising quiz sheet coming out which will test your memory for children's TV programmes!

The Southend Playpark Committee are looking for individuals or businesses who would be willing to help them reach their target by donating  picninc tables or benches for the play area or by sponsoring a piece of equipment.
